Why NETGAIN

The sector is scaling. The talent isn’t.

Biodiversity Net Gain is now embedded in UK planning policy. Nature markets are growing fast. But the scientific evidence base is immature, and the professionals qualified to act on it are too few. Decisions worth billions of pounds are being made without the workforce or the evidence they deserve. NETGAIN exists to close that gap.

Three reasons to get involved

1

Shape the evidence your sector depends on

Our research agenda is co-created with industry. Partner organisations help define the questions we ask, ensuring the science we produce is directly relevant to the challenges you face.

2

Position your organisation at the frontier

NETGAIN partners are formally acknowledged across all our outputs and communications, placing your organisation at the centre of a rapidly maturing field with strong public, regulatory and investment interest.

3

Access tomorrow’s talent today

NETGAIN researchers are the next generation of net gain scientists and practitioners. Partnering with us gives you early access to exceptional people through internships, co-supervised projects, and direct collaboration.
